All Things Porridge

For the moment, I’m living in the UK. And as the stereotype dictates, it rains, a lot. It’s also quite cold a lot of the time. While this makes for rubbish socialising weather, it is perfect for growing oats – specifically the ‘white oat’ variety, which we find in supermarkets over here. Here, you can find everything you need to know as a consumer, quick and oh-so-very-convenient guides to the oats you could/should/might want to use when making super-mega-delicious cakes, biscuits, porridge and everything else in between.

Just a short note:- I am most certainly not a traditionalist, especially with porridge. I will readily admit that, so don’t lynch me just yet. I just eat porridge almost every day, and it’s good to shake things up every once in a while and try out some new flavours when you’re eating something a lot.
